A few days before the Fête de la Musique, the Val Sierckois music school (EMAVS) gave a fine performance at Malbrouck Castle. In the historic setting of the fortress, pupils and teachers offered the audience a warm musical moment mixing different styles and instruments.
The performance showcased the work carried out all year round by the association's musicians, as well as their commitment to culture and to passing on the arts in the Three Borders.
On the occasion of the Fête de la Musique on 21 June, Radio Tripoint wishes to pay tribute to the commitment of the Val Sierckois music school — and, beyond it, to all the associations, artists and volunteers who keep local music alive. Their work strengthens social ties and brings our region's cultural life to life.
