INFRAROUT: when photography reveals the invisible, in Schengen
Luxembourg photographer Pascal Schaeffer invites the public to see the world differently through an exhibition devoted to infrared photography. A distinctive artistic vision that transforms the way we perceive landscapes and nature.

What if our eyes only saw part of what surrounds us? That is the question at the heart of INFRAROUT, a photography exhibition conceived by Luxembourg artist Pascal Schaeffer.
Through this particular technique, the photographer offers another way of reading the world. Infrared photography reveals contrasts, colours and details that usually escape our visual perception. Familiar landscapes take on an almost unreal dimension, giving visitors a striking visual experience.
Presented in colour or in black and white, Pascal Schaeffer's works explore the relationships between light, nature and landscape. Beyond the technical achievement, the exhibition above all invites visitors to slow down, observe and take a fresh look at our surroundings.
This cultural event will take place in an unusual setting: aboard the boat Prinzessin Marie-Astrid Europa, in Schengen.
A cultural event not to be missed
The exhibition's opening will take place on Friday 6 November 2026 at 7pm.
The public will then be able to discover INFRAROUT from 7 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, every day from 10am to 6pm.
